Rally 31: Catton Hall, Swadlincote

Programme:

Come an join us for a fun packed weekend. Bring your children/grandchildren.

Saturday daytime weather permitting and enough adults and children to participate we are looking to put on various games/activities for all the family to join in.

Early Evening before the fireworks we are cooking bacon baps. These are to be pre-ordered at time of booking to avoid wastage and paid on entry to the rally.

Later sit back, relax and watch the fireworks from the rally field.

Local Attractions:

2 ½ miles (7 minutes by car) is the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas.

8 miles to Lichfield has the only medieval 3 spired cathedral in the country. It has historic streets lined with tempting shops from high street chains to independent boutiques..

8 miles to Swadlincote known for its snow sports to include, dry ski slope, tobogganing, snow tubing. As well as some smaller independent shops there is a Morrison’s. Sainsburys, Lidl and Aldi.

Route:

Exit the M42 at Junction 10 and take the A5 towards Tamworth. After 3 miles take the exit sign posted Tamworth A51. Take the 3rd exit on the Ventura Retail Park roundabout. At the next roundabout take the second exit signposted A51 Lichfield. At the next roundabout take the first exit still signposted A51. Follow this road until the next roundabout and turn right by the Fox Inn pub on Coton Lane. Follow Coton Lane to the end and turn left on the A513 signposted Alrewas. Follow the A513 for 5 3/4 miles and take the sharp right hand turn before the railway bridge sign  posted Catton. The site is approximatley 2 miles away. Follow the yellow MCCC signs.
