Rally 11A: Uppertown Farm, Ashbourne

Rally opens for arrivals from 10.00am 

We rally on the closest place to Carsington Water Visitor Centre with fantastic views from rally field of Carsington Water.  The reserviour can be accessed by a pavement from the rally field.  It’s a great place to cycle or walk around, it’s a bird watcher’s heaven and the cafe sells lovely cakes!!

Carsington Water is the ninth largest reservoir in England.  At its highest level the reservoir can hold 7,800 million gallons of water and when it is full, it is 31 metres deep – the height of seven double decker buses.

A short walk will take you to the Knockerdown pub and Ashbourne is a short drive away.

From the B5035 Ashbourne to Wirksworth turn onto Dam Road towards Carsington Water Visitor Centre and just before the enterance to the Visitor Centre the rally field is on the left.
